Unfortunately, victimologists have been able to tap into the hate and prejudice that is all too common in mankind, the idea that anyone who is different or belongs to a different group or has a different belief is an enemy, and must therefore be destroyed, or at the very minimum, denigrated and subjugated. This has been the fate of Gypsies, Jews, Blacks, and just about every immigrant ethnic group in its turn. This hate was long deployed against homosexuals, still surfaces in discussions of gay civil rights, and manifested itself in the brutal murder of Matthew Sheppard in Wyoming in 1998. [...] There is very little - if any - credible evidence that a sexually expressed relationship between a boy and an older male is harmful so long as it is consensual. On the other hand, there is considerable evidence that heavy-handed interference with such a relationship more often than not is traumatic and frequently may destroy the boy. One has to wonder about a society which demonizes and punishes behaviors that have not been shown empirically to cause harm, and yet approves and encourages behaviors which are demonstrably harmful and even traumatic.

A temporary teacher at the Christelijke Scholengemeenschap Bogerman (Christian comprehensive school) in Sneek (Holland) won't be able to get a job anymore, after a student had found out that the man offered himself on an erotically tinted dating site.
[Teachers have to live completely celibatory lives in future. Everything that draws attention to the fact that they are sexual beings, has to be banned, because otherwise children will have traumas as a result of that, because sex is harmful for children. Has never been proved, but does that matter in a sex-disturbed society?]

Today, policemen in 13 European countries, have confiscated computers, laptops and cd's in 150 different houses. The goal: to round up child porn webs. The campaign, operation Icebreaker, was coordinated by the Reparto Operativo Carabinieri Roma. This is the name of the Italian police force which started the investigation. Apart from the Netherlands, the countries involved are, a.o., Belgium, France, Italy, Great-Britain, Germany and Sweden. In Eastern Europe too, there have been raids in various countries. According to Europol, the suspected members of the webs developed ingenious ways to hide their electronical identities and to code their communication.
[There are people who are going crazy, because they are never allowed to see a naked child. This might soon become an obsession, particularly in Anglo-Saxon countries where the taboo on child nudity and child sex is biggest. Eventually, many persons will proceed to download child porn anyway, as it can be easily to obtained through internet. By copying these bits and bites, they do run the risk of a ruined life; imprisonment, therapy. Who on earth will stop this witch hunt? And why cannot children be sexual or cannot they watch child porn themselves? Sexual oppression is prevailing in the 'free' West.]

A Houston-area mother wants a popular diaper brand to recall its product after the ink used on the diaper made her daughter's day care think she was being abused by her parents, television station KPRC reported Monday. The mother said her daughter's day care turned her and her husband into Child Protective Services [CPS] after finding what they thought were bruises on the girl's private parts. [...] The bruises turned out to be blue ink from the child's Huggies Pull-Up Diapers fading onto her skin. The designs on the inside of the diaper -- stars outlined in purple ink -- were the culprit. A newly released sex education manual for children aged 13 to 16, put out by the UK's Family Planning Association, is being harshly criticized by pro-family groups as inappropriate for children. The booklet includes information on how to perform various sexual acts including anal and oral sex, and includes a chapter titled, ''How can I be good at sex?'' One example found in the chapter explains, ''No-one is born sexually experienced, and most of the fun is learning. Talk to your partner. Ask what they like. Be aware of their feelings as well as your own pleasure.'' The booklet encourages children to explore their homosexual attractions, and contains details on masturbation. [...] Family and Youth Concern Director Norman Wells said, ''Publications like this one serve only to normalize sexual activity among young people under the age of consent.'' Sexual intercourse is legal between consenting persons who are 16 years old in England and 17 in Scotland. ''The whole tone of the leaflet cheapens sex rather than attempting to preserve its special character as an expression of the total self-giving between a husband and wife in the context of a lifelong committed marriage,'' Wells added.

A German man confessed that he abused hundred children who were entrusted to his care in a day-care-centre in Hannover. The German police said that they will interrogate all children who have been taken care of by the man. Yesterday, a patient from the Pompekliniek in Nijmegen demanded in summary proceedings that he will be treated outside this institution for people under hospital order, if necessary under electronical supervision. The man, who, according to psychiatrists, is an untreatable pedophile with the lasting danger that he will commit a criminal offence again. With the summary proceedings, he wants to prevent that he will end up in the longstay department of the Pompekliniek. [On average, one child a week dies from the results of abuse by a parent. After years and years, this subject, which has been swept under the carpet, suddenly becomes a little more visible. It is not coincidentally, that this goes together with the decrease of media attention for pedosexual cases. A sentenced pedophile from the Rozenstraat in Hilversum left his house, being forced by the neighbourhood. Last Monday evening, 54-year-old Ben R. returned to his house after an imprisonment of six months because of abuse of young girls. He committed sexual abuse with five girls from 1992 up to 2004. Local residents started a campaign to get rid of the man. In front of the windows there were posters with the text 'Ben Not Welcome'. That made him decide to go underground for the time being.

A 51-year-old Frisian who had been sentenced for sexual abuse with two girls, institutes summary proceedings against the kingdom of the Netherlands. He demands that the hospital order with compulsory nursery which has been imposed on him, will be executed. The man has been sentenced to two years of imprisonment and hospital order with compulsory nursery, but, four and a half years after the verdict of the Leeuwarden court, he still is not in a hospital. ''I feel terribly sorry for these people. They are in prison, but nothing happens, while they have already served their time,'' Tjalling van der Goot, the Frisian's lawyer, said last Monday.
[The waiting lists are really soaring, because these days, they impose hospital orders as were they nothing. (This remark is isolated from this case, as MARTIJN and almost nobody else is in sight of the facts!) More and more people are handed over to persons who are going to experiment around to prevent that people will caress someone's little cunt again or something like that. Knocking the daylights out of a child is something society will accept, but physical pleasure is sinful. Hardly anybody receives punishment for beating or for other child abuse. How sick can a society be?]

Twenty-nine men and women from the small American town of Bakersfield are frenetically trying to catch up with their lives again. During the last few years, former detectives and cooperators told what sort of methods Jager's really were. At night, children were taken away from their parents and interrogated for many hours. Policemen drove through the Bakersfield streets with them, so that they could point out the evil men. Without interruption, abuse scenarios were spooned up to the children, until finally they confessed. They told stories about small kids hanging on meat hooks, sodomy, group rapes, dead babies and the drinking of human blood. From 1983 up to 1987, Jagel rounded up eight webs by doing so. The [European] constitution, which will be at hand in a referendum for approval or rejection on 1 June, is the first international document that explicitly forbids discrimination on the basis of sexual inclination. Even the Dutch constitution does not go that far, the words sexual inclination are not even mentioned in it. A fifteen-year-old boy from Sweden has been murdered because he was gay. Two peers were picked up by the police. Meanwhile, the boys have confessed the murder. One of them had Nazi sympathies. When he heard from the victim that he was gay, he became furious. At first, the boys would have threatened to kill their victim. The murder came as a shock to the Swedish gay lobby RFSL.

The makers of the site Perverted-justice.com pose as minor children in several chatboxes to draw out pedophiles who are looking for illegal sex contacts through chatboxes. Then, all data (chatlogs, photographs, data of persons) are thrown onto the site and, where necessary, the police is brought in. [...] The American TV station Fox12 made some coverages about this, in which they show what happens when the pedophile is actually standing in front of the 'minor's' door and he is being asked why he makes these contacts.

41-year-old Paul Blackburn was innocently in prison for 25 years. Last Thursday, the English newspapers The Times and The Guardian reported that a London court of appeal annulled the 1978 sentence. In 1978, 15-year-old Blackburn was sentenced for an attempted murder of a 9-year-old boy. At the time, the court based itself on interrogation methods which are impermissable when regarded afterwards. According to an expert, everyone would have confessed as the result of the merciless method, certainly a young person. [...] Blackburn served his time in 18 different prisons. ''I am still furious,'' according to Blackburn. His punishment was that long, because he has always contested his sentence and therefore the government labelled him as impervious.

In February, former priest Paul Shanley, 74, was convicted on three counts of raping a child and two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child. He was sentenced to 12 to 15 years in prison which, because of his age, is effectively a life sentence. There were originally four accusers, who claimed to have recovered memories of abuse which happened nearly four decades ago. Three were dropped by the prosecution due to large inconsistencies in their stories. According to news reports, the forth, Paul Busa, claimed to have been removed from his class at school by Shanley and raped, on numerous occassions from age six to age twelve. But each time, he claimed he had forgotten the experience by the next day, and thus continued to go with Shanley each time. What sets the Shanley case apart from many of the other sex abuse cases involving priests is that it seems to rely solely on uncorroborated recovered memories. The prosecution did not present any eyewitnesses, any physical evidence, any evidence of contemporaneous health or emotional problems, nor any recollections of unusual activity or behavior at the time. The whole theory of recovered memory and traumatic amnesia is dubious at best. Richard McNally, a Harvard University psychologist and the author of Remembering Trauma, says that people forget and recover nontraumatic memories all the time, but when an experience is truly traumatic, they ''seldom if ever'' forget it, though they may manage not to think about it. ''No one has traumatic amnesia. Moreover, ''the more repeated an event is, the less likely you are to forget that class of event.''

A mother faces criminal charges after she hired a stripper to dance at her 16-year-old son's birthday party. Anette Pharris, 34, has been indicted by a grand jury on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and involving a minor in obscene acts. The boy's father, the stripper and two others also face charges. ''I tried to do something special for my son,'' Pharris said. ''It didn't harm him.''

A Minnesota court has judged that having installed PGP-encryption software is proof for having criminal plans. The pronouncement was made by a panel of three judges in an appeal by Ari David Levie, who had been condemned for taking pictures of a nude nine-year-old girl. The defence had just claimed that the encryption software had nothing to do with the case and that for that reason it should not be regarded as aggravating circumstances.

When, a quarter of a century ago, the left church preached the gospel of the new society, Wouter Buikhuisen (1933) unvoluntarily signed his scientific death-warrant. His plea to investigate into the interaction between biological and social factors in criminal behaviour, was torpedoed as being fascist. Bomb alerts, letters including shit, and slanging-matches and death threats were the consequences. The Dutch media execrated him (Piet Grijs in 'Vrij Nederland' newsmagazine: 'The difference between (neo-Nazi) Glimmerveen and Buikhuisen is an academic education.'), the university frustrated his work, politics kept silent. Buikhuisen left science on doctor's advice. Meanwhile, the spirit of the times and national and foreign research have gained on Buikhuisen's ideas. For the first time since his painful resignation, Wouter Buikhuisen gives an extensive account for television, and draws up the bill of 'the biggest black page in the history of Dutch science'. ''Grijs did not cross me. But the rulers of the Koninklijke Academie voor de Wetenschap (Royal Academy of Science), who took care that the freedom of scientific research was at issue.''
[After this, the Western world pronounced other subjects taboo for scientific research. Think of investigations into child sexuality, pedophilia and the connection between sexual oppression and violence. The follow-up investigation into the latter by James W. Prescott was made impossible (see: www.violence.de) . The researchers Rind, Bauserman and Tromovitch were execrated, together with the results of their research. The university which employed them, received less subsidy, unless it ditched them, and the results of their research may never be brought in for the defence in lawsuits. And what to think of Dutchman Theo Sandfort. His employer, the NISSO (Dutch Institution for Social, Sexuological Research), as MARTIJN learned, even banned him from speaking in public. He also had to go underground because of a media witch hunt against him. The last few months of his life, Dr Edward Brongersma too had to live underground in an acquaintance's house. His left Brongersma Foundation is not even going to investigate into pedophilia in itself, because it will never be able then to receive subsidy for research. Even the name Brongersma Foundation has recently been changed... Welcome to the Western world where opinions may be expressed and matters may be investigated. Society wants to maintain its power over children and young people at all costs, and therefore, they may gather as few sexual rights and liberties as possible. The media allow particularly lies and prejudices. Persons who dare proclaim the truth are demonicized or ignored.]

The Italian police rounded up an extensive child porn web, in which surely 186 men were involved. Through this web, which had its basis on Sicily, these persons could watch images which showed the sexual abuse and torturing of girls aged from four up to to eight. Last Tuesday, the Italian media reported that among the suspects there are three priests from Sicily, Lombardy and Trentino Alto Adige, a mayor, a doctor, a teacher from Sicily and a police functionary. All suspects were visitors of the website, a Sicilian police spokesman reported.

A Minnesota appeals court has ruled that the presence of encryption software on a computer may be viewed as evidence of criminal intent. Ari David Levie, who was convicted of taking illegal photographs of a nude 9-year-old girl, argued on appeal that the PGP encryption utility on his computer was irrelevant and should not have been admitted as evidence during his trial. For the first time, judiciary in the Netherlands sentenced a group of pedosexuals for participating in a criminal organization. During the last year and a half, the Arnhem court sentenced five men to imprisonments of one year up to three and a half years plus hospital order with compulsory nursery, because they organized journeys to Tunesia to commit sexual abuse with minors. In June 2003, the men travelled in groups of two or three to the Tunesian seaside town of Sousse. There, they met boys from the age of 10 up to 14, who - according to the Dutch men - offered themselves for paid sex. According to the Public Prosecutor, the men committed 'criminal offences against morals' and did this 'together and in association with another person or persons'. The Arnhem court did not share this point of view, but all the same, the court of justice regarded the imputation proved now. According to the Public Prosecutor, from now on, the sentences will make it easier to demand this exceptional punishment in similar cases. The men who were sentenced, say to have never had the idea to participate in a criminal organization. According to the men, it was just about a holiday in the first place, and there was no talk of any organization. [...] According to spokesman Tonnon of the board of Attorney Generals , the verdicts offer 'good possibilities for similar cases' in future.
[The 'criminal organization law' was invented once to sentence people all the same (or to give them more severe punishments) when there is no or little proof of criminal acting. After the world of drugs, it is the pedosexuals' turn now. Judiciary must have something to do.]

As it goes for being punishable, I can tell you that if (in the Netherlands) he is not 16 yet, it is even punishable to have erotic conversations with each other. (Apparently, the Taliban has many supporters in the Netherlands as well.) When someone is 16, you can have sex with him, only you cannot make takes of this, because it will be child porn then, and that is punishable (up to the age of 18). You cannot watch child porn either. So, if you are webcamming, you can wank off and things like that, but if he wanks off too in front of the webcam, it may be regarded as child porn?? I do not think that there is any jurisprudence about this. You can put the question to judiciary.

Employees who are caught at downloading child porn, are rarely reported to the police. Four in ten employees who have been caught, even go clear without any sanction. Child porn has been found in the private files in the computer of former Dutch public prosecutor J. Tonino. According to the Public Prosecutor, Tonino cannot be blamed for something punishable yet, because it has not been established that he brought in the images from the internet deliberately. Last Thursday evening, in his broadcast, crime reporter Peter R. de Vries paid attention to the private files in Tonino's computer. Last autumn, the former prosecutor was in the news, when he appeared to have put his computer among the household refuse on the street. A taxidriver found the device and brought it to the crime reporter. Because of this case, Tonino, who dealt with fraud cases at the office of the public prosecutor in Amsterdam, had himself transferred to the functional office of the public prosecutor, where he was given another position.

In America, there is a bill on the table at the moment, which was called in short ''Child Modeling Exploitation Prevention Act''. In short, the long and the short of it is that a difference is made between ''common'' child modeling work and ''exploiting'' child modeling work. The difference is made on the basis of the purpose: the first has as a purpose the recommendation of products to the average American consumer, the second has as a purpose the arousing of feelings of desire. In the bill is explicitly mentioned that the meaning is to not further stimulate the sexual appetite of pedophiles and that photographs like that are harmful to the models. It would not surprise me, if this bill would really reach the American Congress; after all, which Senator dares vote against a bill like that? And, therefore, it would not surprise me either that within an X number of years it will make its entry in the European world as well.

The recent sensational cases, such as the murders of Jessica Lunsford, Jetseta Gage and Sara Lunde have served to further confuse the public and fan the flames of hysteria without educating the public as to the differences in sex crime categories or offenders who commit them, or the real recidivism rates of sexual offenders. Most people would be very shocked to find out that the overall recidivism rate [i.e., committing a new separate sex crime] is in the 5-10% range, well below any other category of crime. [...] Focusing on the majority of offenders who are non-violent, usually one-time offenders takes away attention, resources and public funds from the small core of offenders who are violent and high-risk. It is those non-violent, low-risk offenders who fulfill their registration requirement – those in the small highest-risk group do not. [...] There are many well-intentioned proposals currently being proffered that would enact blanket restrictions on all sex offenders, regardless of risk level, progress in treatment or in society, and regardless of the amount of time since their offense. This is a disservice to the public and will lessen public safety. These proposals feel good and sound good, but experience has shown that broadening definitions and restrictions depletes precious resources of law enforcement and probation offices, which are exactly how these few high-risk offenders are able to commit egregious crimes.

Danish researchers have found young teenage boys are accepting money for sexual favors at an alarmingly high rate. A survey of ninth-graders in the county of Vejle in Jutland showed 1.5 percent had sold their bodies for money, the Copenhagen Post said Thursday. Most of the boys were experimenting with sex, who typically found their customers over the Internet. ''We have a hidden problem, which is much bigger than we thought,'' said Georg Gouliaev, chief doctor at Vejle's children's psychiatric administration. Per Straarup Sondergaard, the study's author, said while some boys were in it for the money, a large part of the group was gay youths who did not have anywhere else to turn to to experiment sexually.

In Germany, there are two issues. In a collection of documents was or is a text by a certain Stephan, a boy who speaks positively about the love affair he had with a man. 'So', the webmaster was accounted for this by 'judiciary', which said that the text was pornography in this context and/or that it is forbidden in Germany to promote a criminal offence and that this was the case here. One was sentenced, but appealed to a higher court. In higher court they thought different about it; however, they did not judge themselves, but referred the case back to the court. The system at the moment is that people are detained if they are a risk to themselves or to others. What this bill does is to update the legislation so that where people have not been able to receive treatment - and this isn't about just being a risk to others it's about people not getting treatment - there are people at the moment with personality disorders with perhaps dual diagnosis between drug abuse and mental health problems, or paedophiles, there is confusion as to whether they can be treated. What this does is to provide that treatment for them and to say, yes, there is an ability, but remember they have to fulfill five very strict conditions and it has to be approved by an independent mental health review tribunal.

On 2/23/05, I telephoned the Rick Robert’s program on KFMB/San Diego and identified myself as a pedophile. Although I discussed a play related to that topic I was producing, my motivation for doing this was the bounty this man had placed on the lives of people like me, in particular NAMBLA members. My persecution for my sexuality began twenty years ago. I was fifteen years old when I approached a guidance counselor at my high school who was friendly to me and told her of my struggles with sexuality. The State of Indiana took me for that disclosure. Many of you have seen the photographs of the facility I was held at through my adolescence. During my first month in their care, I was restrained to a bed. My pants and underwear were lowered and my penis put in an open pair of scissors by the facility staff and Adolescent Program Director. I was told that they should cut my penis off. This was in 1985 and it has never gotten better. [...] On 3/7/05 my wife and I were visited by an IPD Detective and an FBI agent wanting to talk about the radio show. They requested to search my computer; I telephoned my lawyer and she told them not without a warrant. There were never any allegations of wrongdoing of any sort at all. They did not have probable cause. I did not see the Child Protective Service workers with them until I had opened my front door; what I know now in restrospect is that CPS did not have probable cause either and could not have taken my son had I not let them in. The CPS workers did not identify themselves upon entering. Micah, my two-year-old son and the love of my life, was seized and taken to an emergency shelter.

A teacher from the Californian capital Sacramento, who was caught while having sex with a student, has been charged with having 'illegal sexual intercourse'. 30-year-old Margaret De Barraicua would have had a sexual relationship with the 16-year-old boy for a long time.

The majority of educators and teachers thinks that the age of sixteen is the minimum age for a young person to decide 'freely' whether to enter into a sexual relationship with an adult or not. This becomes clear by an interrogation by the section social science relating to the promotion of personal, social and cultural welfare of the Katholieke Hogeschool Limburg [Belgium], a Roman-Catholic college of advanced higher education. A small minority thinks that sex with a teenager, on the other hand, can be allowed, regardless of his or her age. [...] Yet, especially men are more on the alert than they used to be. Up to one fifth of the male respondents say to feel inhibited since the Dutroux case, and to be frightened of being falsely accused of pedophilia. [...] Three per cent [of the respondents] admitted to be able of becoming aroused during the care for children. It is striking, that a small minority of 5 per cent agreed with the posing that sex with children will be accepted by society in due time, just like it happenend now with homosexuality. Even a decent 10 per cent - 12 per cent men, 7 per cent women - does not define sexual touches with mutual consent between young people and educators as pedophilia. So, there is a clear movement - a minority though, but all the same - in the landscape of educators which does not by definition experience all physical and sexual feelings between young persons and educators as impermissible. Sexual abuse is rejected, but mutual caresses of love can be allowed. If it happens of one own's free will, if the youngster can stop with it any moment and if he or she is not saddled with 'a big secret' afterwards.

But the backlash from politicians and the media was so furious that Rind has abandoned research in the field. Yesterday, the Dutch female painter Kiki Lamers (40), in an appeal to a higher court, was condemned to eight months suspended imprisonment and a fine of 5,000 euro by the Court of the French town Riom because of ''moral damage to minors''. Lamers has become well-known all over the world by her painted portraits of nude children. The Court regards some photographs which Lamers took of naked young children, ''suggestive and even obscene''. The behaviour on the photographs to which the children were incited by an adult, must ''have considerable consequences for their sexuality [...] and future development''. Seventeen youngsters, aged 9 up to 16, from Rotterdam, were arrested this month on suspicion of raping a 13-year-old girl from Rotterdam several times.
[In the tv programme '2Vandaag' host Karel van de Graaf (AVRO broadcasting company) reported that rape can also mean the inserting of fingers. Thus, he apparently wants to maintain the fairy tale that a 9-year-old cannot have a hard-on. The solution for preventing rapes is often: giving good sexual education.

Tomorrow, the Fleming Marcel Vervloesem, who, with his Studygroup Morkhoven, has fought against sexual abuse of minors for many years, stands trial himself. He will have to account for the facts he fights so fiercely, according to himself. He is also charged with the possession of child porn. From 1998 on, the Turnhout judiciary received several complaints about Vervloesem from young men from the deprivation quarter Morkhoven, near Herenthals. When a man rapes a woman you can write ''man rapes woman'' or ''hetero rapes woman''. The latter does not add anything. However, the media have reported ''pedophile rapes child'' for many years instead of ''man rapes child''. This stigmatized a whole minority group.
